This diploma covers the complete visual effects pipeline, from pre-production and perspective drawing through rotoscoping, paint, and compositing, camera and lens fundamentals, and 3D matchmove. Production-focused modules cover VFX in film production, project management and scheduling, and understanding client requirements, preparing students for real-world VFX studio workflows.

Covers the history and techniques of rotoscoping, vector animation and spline tools, tracking (point, planar, and Mocha tracking), node-based paint and clean plate work, keying and matte extraction, and 3D compositing.
Covers 3D modelling and shading, lighting and rendering pipelines, character rigging and IK/FK animation basics, camera and lens fundamentals for matchmove, and Lidar-based camera solving and file delivery.
Covers budgeting and scheduling, pre-production and production coordination, post-production execution, team communication and dailies review, and client communication and feedback cycles.
Covers project initiation and planning, execution and resource coordination, monitoring and change management, resource allocation, and real-time project tracking.
Covers active listening and client engagement, requirement clarification and validation, collaborative prototyping, documentation and traceability, and iterative feedback and adaptation.
Practical module compositing a full scene with layers, mattes, 3D elements, and splines, including chroma keying, 2D/3D tracking, camera projection, 3D element rendering, grading, and final delivery.
Practical module covering camera and lens knowledge, Lidar lineup and deviation curve fine-tuning, camera solving, object tracking, animation layers, and scene packaging and rendering.
